Observation research of a Lesley University (formerly the Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University) Graphic Design course called, Visual Reasearch. This project was under the supervision of Graphic Design scholar and practitioner, Kristina Lamour Sansone, now the Chair of Design at Lesley University's College of Art and Design. During my time working with Professor Sansone as a Graduate Research Associate, I observed her graphic design students engaging in the process of visual research and design projects, using qualitative research methods such as, ethnographic observation, photography, and interviewing. All of the documentation of the project was published online through the course blog. The blog also served as a way in which students could chart their own progress throughout the design process.
